Cranwell Wealth Solutions Limited

Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management

Stephen Palmer, Director

I have been offering advice ‘that makes a difference’ (so my clients tell me) for almost two decades, firstly with Natwest, Business and Commercial Clients and later with HSBC Premier clients as an Independent Financial Adviser.

Everyone is different and therefore has differing financial planning needs. As such, I feel very strongly that holistic financial planning should always be carried out. This means that my advice will absolutely be tailored for your individual needs and objectives. It also means that even if no immediate action is taken in a specific area you will have a complete picture of all your financial needs.

My expertise covers a broad range of financial planning and I appreciate that all types of financial matters are extremely personal and whether it is buying a new home, investing for the future or ensuring longer-term security for an elderly relative, these issues are the driver for a conversation with me. I take every one of my clients outcomes as personally as they do - offering a high level of client care and service.

As my business has grown I realise that much of that growth is as a result of introductions and referrals from my existing clients. Building relationships founded on trust matter most to me and I would hope that all my clients could come to rely on me in this way.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than the amount invested.

Peter Morris, Financial Adviser

I have been working in Financial Services for sixteen years and along the way I have found that I get the greatest pleasure from making a real difference to my clients' lives and futures by sitting down with them to work out bespoke plans. I have recently joined Cranwell Wealth Solutions, from HSBC, to me give me freedom to provide a wide range of financial solutions.

Cranwell Wealth Solutions is a fast growing practice, mainly down to word of mouth and recommendations, and with the new office in Uckfield I will bring my background of excelling in client service to build trust with both existing and new clients.

I personally believe that everyone’s circumstances are different and that they will also be constantly evolving and that is why it’s vital to meet with my clients and keep in touch regularly. This enables me to tailor all advice to be both timely and relevant. Even if that means no action is taken at that point, it gives all involved peace of mind that we are perfectly positioned.

My experience and expertise covers a broad range of financial planning including:

Covering your plans and the future plans of your family and dependants to ensure that in the unfortunate event of death, critical illness or long term sickness you can still afford your commitments.

Investing either for growth or to generate additional income in the most tax efficient manner. Either through a lump sum or regular savings towards a future goal with an aim to achieve more than you can in a cash account. This could be for a new purpose or reviewing existing plans to make sure they are best placed to achieve your goal.

Planning for or living in retirement. The best made plans start as early as possible and are continually reviewed throughout their growth period to give you the best retirement possible. When the time comes to turn that hard earned money into sufficient income to achieve retirement aspirations, I enjoy working with clients to make this a reality.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds selected and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than the amount invested.

An investment placed into equities would not have the security of capital associated with a deposit account with a bank or building society.

The levels and bases of taxation, and reliefs from taxation, can change at any time. The value of any tax relief depends on individual circumstances.

Steven Sanders, Financial Adviser

Steve has over 17 years' experience working in the Financial Services industry. He worked for Nationwide Building Society for 14 years, as a Mortgage Adviser, Branch Manager and Financial Adviser and for the last 3 years with a HSBC bank, as a Premier Relationship Manager.

In line with his professional background and as a representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management, his service is enhanced and complemented by the provision of advice covering the areas of investment planning, Inheritance Tax planning and retirement strategies.

Fundamentally his approach is to be problem-solving for the client - rather than product-selling. As a result, his clients can expect to receive the most comprehensive and appropriate advice at all times.
